About Cody Boles
Cody is a clinical psychologist who has experience working in a variety of public and private mental health care settings. She has a masters degree in clinical psychology and is a published author in the field of mental health and physical activity.
With a passion for working with adolescents and adults with Autism, Eating Disorders, Depression and Anxiety, Cody provides individual therapy tailored towards her client's individual needs, goals, and abilities.
Her therapeutic skillset includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology and Brief Solution Focused Therapy.
Cody is an approachable and caring professional who enjoys spending time in nature, yoga, baking, camping, fishing, and going to the gym in her spare time.
Areas of Interest
Cody provides therapy both face to face and via telehealth, in home NDIS support can be provided as needed. She supports adolescents and adults to improve their mental health, build stronger and kinder relationships with themselves, problem solve, and alleviate distress. In addition to the below clinical presentations, she assists individuals with personal development and assertiveness skills training to support them in their personal, professional, and social lives.

Approach
Cody believes in a holistic and balanced approach to mental health. She enjoys combining aspects of physical activity, yoga, mindfulness, and movement-based practices into her sessions. Cody is a qualified yoga instructor and is currently completing further studies in yoga therapy. She is passionate about working with people with Autism and other physical or intellectual disabilities and their families and has both professional and personal experience in supporting this population. Her masters thesis explored treatment methods for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and comorbid depression and anxiety which is currently in the publication stage. Cody is a registered clinical psychologist with AHPRA, a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPI), International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA), and Australian and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED). Cody is also a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) and is passionate about supporting these individuals in recovery and building self-confidence.
